Altorecruit is currently seeking to appoint an Application and Quality Laboratory Manager on behalf of a distinguished company within the industrial chemical sector. The organization is renowned for its specialization in the innovation and development of advanced products. (Based in the Vallés Oriental region)
Core Responsibilities
- Overseeing the quality and meticulousness of reports generated by the laboratory.
- Ensuring product quality and the proficient management of quality-related incidents.
- Spearheading the development of new technical applications and testing methodologies, driving innovation across both processes and products.
- Maintaining fluid and collaborative communication with the commercial division, facilitating robust support and strategic alignment of objectives.
- Leading and mentoring the technical team, actively fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Managing the laboratory's material resources and equipment, including the planning of procurement and maintenance schedules.
- Participating in R&D and senior management meetings to contribute to the definition of strategies and priorities for the technical division.
- Identifying and proposing strategic investments designed to secure the company's competitive edge.
- Liaising with the Regulatory Affairs department to ensure ongoing normative and documentary compliance.
Key Management Areas
- Laboratory: Overseeing the development and execution of assays, report generation, and provision of technical support.
- Quality Control: Managing final product validation, incident resolution, and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Innovation & Applications: Driving the modernization of testing methodologies and proposing new technical-commercial applications.
- Regulatory Affairs Area: Providing technical support and coordination to guarantee unwavering regulatory and documentary adherence.
Candidate Profile
- A university degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in the management of technical laboratories and multidisciplinary teams.
- A high level of proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
- Proven leadership capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a results-driven mindset.
- A demonstrable ability to guide and empower a team, steering performance towards common objectives while cultivating a positive and collaborative work environment.
