Sales Engineer – Transporte de Fluidos solidos

We are currently managing a recruitment process for a well-established engineering company based in Barcelona, specialized in providing bulk solids handling and treatment solutions for industrial clients across Spain and Europe.
The company is looking for a Sales Engineer to strengthen its commercial team and support its continued growth.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to grow business in the bulk solids handling sector (feeding, conveying, drying, dosing, and related equipment).
Manage existing accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities across industrial sectors (plastics, chemicals, food, pharma, etc.).
Provide technical and commercial advice, tailoring solutions to customer needs.
Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful project handover to engineering/installation teams.
Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and customer demonstrations.
Travel frequently (approx. 40–50% of the time) across Spain, with occasional international trips.
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical sales within the industrial equipment, engineering, or bulk solids handling sector.
Strong technical understanding of conveying, drying, dosing or automation systems.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to build long-term client relationships.
Fluency in Spanish and English (additional languages will be a plus).
Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently.
Based in Barcelona or nearby region.
