Main Responsibilities:
• Identify and target new customers and markets to drive business growth.
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers to ensure ongoing business and identify new opportunities, exceeding budget targets.
• Record customer, competitor, and market information in CRM.
• Develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities to meet sales objectives.
• Negotiate pricing with customers and drive sales strategies in alignment with company goals.
• Assess customer creditworthiness and manage discounts according to local guidelines. • Collaborate with internal teams (ADE, BDM, KAM, ISR) during customer visits.
• Prepare sales budgets and forecasts, regularly analyzing sales performance.
• Participate in customer events, seminars, and exhibitions, and support lead generation through market research.
• Report on area sales development and engage in regional sales meetings.
• Cover for internal sales in case of absence. Compliance:
• Follow company quality management goals and the Krahn Code of Conduct.
• Comply with anti-trust guidelines and report any suspicious fraudulent activity. Accountabilities:
• Ensure customer pricing is aligned with targets.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance business operations.
• Work closely with CSR to foster team collaboration.
Qualifications:
• Completed commercial or technical training (academic qualifications are a plus).
• Fluent in English, French, and local language. Experience & Skills:
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the thermoplastics industry.
• Basic technical knowledge of polymer types and their applications.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proactive and able to work independently, with confidence in cold and warm calling.
